The Future: 2040

Today is April 2, 2040 and I'm a freshman in college and this morning I woke to my alarm clock blaring my favorite music. I hopped on the rotator belt that brought me through the shower and bathed me. Then went to the closet where my robot picked out my clothes that matched me with the outfit that fit my mood for the day. I went downstairs to the kitchen where the stove was fixing my breakfast, so I ate then left for class. I rode my segway to class then walked to our class where the holographic computers were waiting. I went to the rest of my classes, and then as I walked back to my segway I pulled out the phone, which was like a regular phone but instead of putting it up to your ear you push a button then the holographic screen opens and connects you to the person you want to talk to. As I walked into my dorm dinner was on the table and after my roommates got back to the dorm and we watched the television that was also holographic, played some games, then went to bed.
